Sunday's probably my most important day, especially when it's the day that I rarely go out hence the only day that I get to slack at home the whole day, do my own stuffs and get some work done without the thought that I have to go out and meet anyone.
Then again, Sunday also the day I put aside for family time.
On Saturday was another busy running around day for me, from morning till night. Reckon I probably need to duplicate myself, just so I can be at two places at once. Lol.
Though morning again, I had a rare sleep in an extra 2 hours.
Sudden change of plans to go down to Nex for lunch with family.
It became a trend that we're celebrating both Mother's and Father's Day at Fish & Co.
Then again, that is big brother's treat.
Next week would be my treat for daddy. Lol. Big brother's treat is both at Fish & Co, while for me, I choose my location accordingly (somewhat).
Mother's Day was the dessert buffet, something I reckon mummy would enjoy.
And for Father's Day, well, I'll reveal the location next week.
After lunch, headed down for my next appointment at Orchard.
Dr Low was celebrating her new clinic opening down at Scotts Medical Centre. So the next time anyone wants to find an orthodontic, you know where to head to!
Couldn't eat much since I just had lunch, and decided to head straight for dessert instead.
And a refreshing glass of white wine. Only mistake was not getting the name of the wine.
Exploration of the new clinic and also finding who is the employee of the mouth!
Next event is Ashley's 21st party at 49 seats. That's another strike off my food hunt list.
Super love the interior design of the store, the way how menu were pinned up on the wall like decoration, the interesting lights, and the wall decoration. We had the inside of the store all booked up for Ashley's birthday, and it was theme black and white.
Brought him a balloon, in which I painfully held it through my mrt ride with people staring at me and a kid wanting the balloon. Felt bad for the kid but I really couldn't give him the balloon.
Then again, I know how is it like to receive a balloon randomly, and cheap thrill maybe but I do receiving surprise gifts once in a while.
Was seated with Ashley's secondary school friends, since I kind of have no special group to sit with. But the guys I sat with were very nice, and did try to include me into their conversations as well, ensuring that I do not feel left out.
The meal consist of unlimited refill of ribena (Gosh, I haven't had this drink is years!), mushroom soup and a main course. For me, I chose chicken chop since I had fish for lunch already (best not to overload fishes in a day).
However, personally, I felt that the fish & chips were more to my liking as compared to my chicken chop. Nothing special that screams out to me. Pretty much 'cause one of his friends offered a piece to me. Lol.
The party ended with screaming (singing) the birthday song and trying to see if we can get a complain from the opposite neighbor for noise pollution. Even the owner was being very spontaneous about it and getting us to sing louder. Off with the birthday cake, and chilling out with the birthday boy.
Eventually time kicks in, and time for me to head home. Cinderella still ain't a fan of staying out late, and she woke up with horrible blisters on her ankle. Major sigh.
