Puking rainbow

Peekaboo! Another week, another post.
Reckon there goes any regular posting again. Just ended my first paper this week, and to be almost, my hand died from this paper.
First ever that I wrote so much within two hours. It's like 1.5 pages per questions, and to think the night before I was up till 1am on the phone with Box. Good job.
Less than 5 hours of sleep and I'm off into the exam room. A freaking good thing I still can remember what I studied the day before and at least write some decent stuffs on the paper.

And now I self-made my tradition that after every exam paper, I shall pamper myself with a sinful dessert. Either as a reward or a way of cheering myself up in case I didn't do that well. Either way, it's a good excuse for dessert, and it's the perfect excuse to have dessert for lunch.

A nice cosy cafe just round the Serangoon Gardens.
To think it's one of the few dessert cafe that I known so far that is open on a Monday. It's kind of my happiness since most of the papers are on Monday and after that I can't really go to the two dessert places around my area just 'cause they are closed.
Actually dropped by this cafe last week with the intention to try their rainbow cake, but unfortunately it got sold out.
BUT BUT. About 10minutes later, a whole new cake came in. By then I had ordered a sweet grape juice and didn't really want overload with sweetness at night.
So I told the boss that I might come down on Monday around lunch time (if he's open) to get the cake.
And he told me that he would try to reserve the slice for me if I'm confirm coming down.

So yea. Today I went down, and I wasn't really expecting him to keep his word. It was kind of more like trying my luck to see if they have it in stock.
And also the boss wasn't there today, so the more I wasn't expecting anything.
Stepping into the cafe, I immediately noticed that there was a slice of rainbow cake on display. Inside secretly hoping that's mine.
At first the counter girl said I could have it, but another counter girl then informed me that it was under reservation. Super disappointed when they said that.
Then here comes my surprise, she then look at me and asked for my name. 'Cause apparently, the boss did reserve the slice of cake for me! Whoohoo. Happy kitty.

6 layers of happyness and sweetness.
Awesome cake, nice texture, color (obviously), and surprisingly not too overwhelming of sweetness.
Hell better version of mine I'll say.
And it's literally all mine.
Was joking with my classmates on instagram that if Box was here beside me, it would be seven layers of sweetness ^^
And the funny thing was a guy was sitting opposite me with the thought of what my boy would be doing on a typical day. Sitting in a cafe with a book and food.
Definitely a thing to do on our list, chill out at this cafe with food, book and cakes!
